You need to have a solid understanding of your character, including the following:

- Name
- Age
- Job
- Hobbies
- Likes/dislikes
- What you do when nobody's watching
- What do your friends say about you?
- What do your enemies say about you?
- What are some qualities you look for in a "perfect partner" (not necessarily romantic partner)
- Characteristic walk
- Leading body part
- Repeated movement
- Voice - pitch, tone, speed, accent? Repeated phrase?
- Facial expressions and eye contact considerations help as well
